February | Bestfriend Tag

26 February 2018

I remember when I first started blogging with my friends, we love writing anything without being too constructive or formative neither too formal. We like to explore and experiment everything. And sometimes, we love to do blog tags, answered questionnaires and even challenges and games.

Bringing back the old fun, the inner-child of us, both Zahidah and I decided to have something we would like to call as monthly bestfriend tag every 26th! In each post, we'll have four questions, any kind of questions; random, funny, personal, or even deep questions, that both of us need to answer. Two questions from me and another two from her. This is one of the way for us to get to know each other and our own self better. (Pray that both of us will be consistent with this)

Also, don't forget to check her blog HERE. She's wayyyy better writer than me. She took English course in University. (Not fair)

So, 4 questions start now! Let's do this!

1. Who are your top three lady heroes?

I wish I could say Khadijah r.a, Fatimah r.a and Aisyah r.a. But sadly, I can't at the moment. I haven't get the chance to learn about them deeply, yet. I pray that I will learn more about them this year.

So, other than those 3, of course my first answer would be my Mak. Obviously. My Mak is like a wonder woman, a super mom. She basically can do everything, from cooking the most delicious meal ever, to baking, sewing and even gardening. Best mom award should be given to my Mak. Why didn't you gave me your skills to me Mak?

My second lady heroes would be both Hanis Zalikha and Vivy Yusuf. I can't choose! Eeep! I love how they both hark working woman but still friendly and humble at the same time. I love how they can balance work, family, friends and social media accounts, vlog and blog at the same time. I love how they always share good stuff, good knowledge and good vibes.

My third lady heroes goes to both Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres. I want be able to make a show like theirs in Malaysia and helps making others happy someday.

Extra lady hero : Neollene Ain. She has the life that I want. Videography and travelling at the same time. She left architect to pursue her passion that has nothing to do with her formal education. I wish I was brave and talented enough to be like her.

I could do a whole post just for inspiring woman! Anyway, those are some of my favourite lady heroes. Someone I always look up to. Someone I wish I could be.

2. If you had to be on a reality TV show, which one would you choose?

The Amazing Race Asia! With B. One of my wildest dream to be part of The Amazing Race Asia with my husband. :D

3. What did your last relationship teach you?

  • To love my self first.
  • Never settle for less.
  • Live in the moment.
  • Depends on Allah.
  • Don't get overly attached with people, things or moments.
  • Pain is temporarily.
  • Go for whatever makes you happy.
  • Life is a journey.
  • Make a bucketlist and start crossing some.
  • You will never be this young again.

4. What’s your favorite book/movie of all time and why did it speak to you so much?

The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. Both the series of books and the documentary. The first time I discover about the law of attraction through this book. Basically strengthen my faith to always believe in God and His goodness, changed my perspective of life, my life, the way how I see life, how I react with life, to be grateful always and less complaining.

***

I want to write much longer, but I think I'll save it for another day. That's all for my February Bestfriend Tag! Can't wait to read Zahidah's post. Do answer the questions too and get to know your ownself.

With that, love and prayers,
AS
