Salam everyone! So this month, I wanted to share something that I've been doing this month. I've been consistently take this FREE "online course", which called The Sacred Formula : A Study of the Du'a of the Prophets By Sh. Yahya Adel Ibrahim.

But first, let me introduce you to School of Deen. I super love them btw. One of the best Islamic organization that I've followed (before this I love I-Muslim, but sadly, they're no longer operating). They organize events and classes for both online and offline. They'll also have Sister of Deen Meet Up every 2 months, which I always joined.

I've been following them in :
1. Instagram

Anyway, back to the course.

💡THE SACRED FORMULA WILL COVER:
1. Introduction
2. 5 people whom Allah will answer
3. Do You Deserve to be Answered?
4. Why Du'a is not answered?
5. The Du'a of Adam
6. The Du'a of Nuh
7. The Du'a of Ibrahim
8. The Du'a of Yunus
9. The Du'a of Musa
10. The Du'a of Zakariya
11. The Du'a of Muhammad ï·º

💡HOW WILL IT WORKS?
🌸 Maximum of 15 minutes audio lecture for 27 days.
🌸 Just click on the link to be provided to play the audio.
🌸 Once it's played you don't need the internet anymore, You can just lock your phone, you can still take notes using your phone, you can PAUSE, PLAY and REWIND freely!

💡TIPS:
🌸 Just spend only max of 15 minutes / day to learn new knowledge. Don't procrastinate!
🌸 Or you can also be like me. I consistently spend my Monday and Tuesday mornings for a month to listen to 3 - 5 audios / day and take notes. I downloaded all the audios in my laptop. I printed the PDF version and took notes there. I spend about 1 hour only to study.
🌸You can listen while doing something else (eg: driving) or have a proper study time like me. I avoid multitasking and focus to listen to audio while taking notes only. I've also put my phone in silent mode. Helps me to concentrate better.
🌸 Share few key points everyday with your family, friends or your social medias to help you remember.
🌸 Apply the Doas that you've learned through out the course in your everyday life and start creating your own Doas too!

If you want to join the course, don't worry it's never too late, just install Telegram apps in your laptop or phone and click HERE

Happy learning guys. May all of us be benefited with the knowledge and started to apply them in our daily life. May Allah accept our efforts in learning and be a better muslim.

Mute & Unfollow Buttons | Social Medias

25 July 2018

Hye guys. Lately I've been overwhelmed with my social medias feed. I'm that type of person who will read every tweets, like every pictures in Instagram, read every captions people wrote, and watch every instastory people made. Phew.

I know that most people will just skip their instastory and tweets and whatsnot, but I can't help it that I hate seeing those purple colour circle to people's instastory "You haven't watch me yet!" notification.

So I will ended up watching people stuck in the traffic, people having their mini cooking show, random selfies, and people showing off their foods, or sometimes boyfriend / girlfriend / husband / wife / children.

Don't get me wrong. I am someone who believes that social media is one of the way for us to share our feelings, keeping us sane or even a platform to train our creativity. I still believe in you are free to post whatever you want to post in social media. "If you don't like what I post, don't follow me."

That is true. However lately, these questions have been stuck in my head, "Do this information add value to my life?" And also, "Do I really care about this person?"

I know that sometimes we tend to follow someone in social media just for the sake of courtesy. Like what I did. Malays problem, I guess. Too polite to ignore. Just because that person follow us first, thus we need to follow them back. Or else, we are considered to be #sombong.

Nowadays, since I followed so many people, my feed is getting messier. I get overwhelmed with the people I followed. I barely know them. Maybe we went to the same school, or take the same course in university, but honestly, I never even talk to them in real life. #whybother So why did I follow them again? For courtesy.

Thank God I just discover the "mute post and story" button in Instagram and "unfollow but stay friend" button in Facebook. #lifesaviour I know I'm probably late, but I'm just thankful that I discovered those buttons.

You know as I get older, I'm looking for more content rather than your boyfriend videos or "I'm stuck in the traffic" instastory. If you are someone I care, of course I will not be that bother. But if you are someone I don't really know at the first place, why would I even bother to watch?! It doesn't add value to my life. But obviously I can't unfollow you in Instagram or unfriend you in Facebook right? #sombong

But I can also choose what I want to see now. #technologyimproved

Instead of talking bad about other people, "tu pun nak post" #membawang why don't we just save ourselves from these #dosakecil and just choose to mute or unfollow them. Remember, life is a choice. Choose positivity. Choose love.

Do yourself a favour. Start declutter your friends and followings. You'll have a simpler life. A happier life.

PS: I turn off my notifications button 3 months ago and my life is much more simpler!

Bye!

Mid-Year Review | Highlights & Favourites

04 July 2018

Hye guys. I'm back after 3 months of silent. A lot of things happened during those time. Half of the year has passed. Alhamdulillah for everything. A lot of ups and downs. The first half of year I was so focused with my self, my marriage life and... Wait for it...

So these are some of the highlights, lessons and my favourites for the first half of the year.

HIGHLIGHTS

January - Just get back from Iran. Best trip with my girls. Went to my first Sisters of Deen Meet Up, alone and survived. January is my favourite month (although most people despise this month) because of my birthday! My husband (whom I will refer as B from now on) and I went to Melaka for my birthday trip. Melaka foodhunt, checked! B tried to make surprise on my birthday but of course I knew it. Had picnic with Zahidah.

February - Visit Hara with Teera. Had my first Boat Noodle experience with Huda. My first (and maybe last) run of the year, Ashrae Run 10km. Kelantan roadtrip & foodhunt with the family. Muaz's Nikah. Had my first Kfry experience with Awin & Azra.

March - I'm pregnant! Everything went kinda haywire after I knew I was pregnant. I was so unproductive and lazy, even though March was supposed to be my productive and organize month. Alhamdulillah I have no nausea or morning sickness whatsoever. Just that my body is very tired 24/7. Nevertheless, March was still happening because I went to watch Ola Bola theater and Lee Chong Wei premier with B. My childhood best friend got married with my primary school friend. Mind blown. Joined walk for Earth Hour event with B. Went to the second Sisters of Deen Meet Up with Mas. Celebrate Azza's bachelorette party.

April - Went to our first Islamic talk event together after marriage, In the House of Rasulullah by School of Deen. Azza's wedding where I'm one of the bridemaid. Family day at Sungkai. Bangkok - Hatyai trip with B, for his birthday trip.

May - Went to my first concert with my sisters, KRU25! Best concert ever! Went to Dato' Seri theater at KL Pac with B. Went to the third Sisters of Deen Meet Up alone. Fasting month.

June - Raya! My first time raya away from my parents. Went back to Kelantan for the first day of raya. Visit Amy with Mimi, she just delivered her baby. Balik kampung and raya tour with my family.

LESSONS LEARNT
  • Embrace the journey. Every single details, every small things matter.
  • Even if I feel like I've done nothing in the first half of the year, looking back at the list, I actually did a lot of things.
  • Patience is virtue. Don't speak when you're mad.
  • Be okay with unprepared things coming your way.
  • Do baby steps but with consistency.
  • Develop more positive thinking and avoid negativity. Less complaining and membawang.
  • Wake up early. Early bird catches the worm.
  • Be more organize and prioritize. Don't try to do everything all at once.
  • Always spend time with family and friends.
  • Have your own me time and your together time with your partner.
  • Its okay if you are having a slump. Just get back and reorganize your life back.
  • You don't need to wait for specific date to start something, just do now. Don't procrastinate.

PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENT

I've saved a lot of money this year. I'm no longer buying unnecessary things. Quality over quantity. I did my money budget tracker every month and so far I'm very consistent with it.
