Gratitude | Words of Wisdom 🌟

Salam and hye guys!

Previously on my Words of Wisdom series I talk about HAPPY. Today, I want to talk about something that is very related with happiness which is GRATITUDE.

Years ago, during my my doomed years or "zaman kejatuhan" as I would like to call it, I notice that I was lack of gratitude before. I didn't realized how blessful my life is. My roommate said my life is like a fairytales. Maybe in her eyes, I have everything that she wanted. But I did not being grateful at all.

When I decided to be happy again at the end of 2014, I started to be grateful again. I started to notice every single details of my life. Now, I even have a specific journal just to list out everything I am grateful for. I write on my gratitude journal every once a week just to remind me how blessful my life is. Even if I have a bad week or a rough day, I will try to find at least one good thing that day.

I also read The Magic (The Secret #3) by Rhonda Byrne where she talks about how to get everything you want by being grateful and how to be grateful. 

💙 Count your blessings:- 
1. Your healthy body
2. Your soundmind
3. Your home
4. Your deen
5. Your relationship, family and friends
6. Your job, career, money, & finance
7. Your hobby & passions

💡 Journal Prompt & Exercises:


1. List things that you are grateful for every week.
2. Practice saying Alhamdulillah as much as possible

We need to be grateful in order for us to receive more. ðŸ’™ As Allah says in one of my favourite ayah in the Quran, "If you are grateful, I will surely give you more and more" (Ibrahim 14:7)



You have everything that you need now because Allah knows the best. Trust Him and starts counting your blessings. ðŸ’™
