Family Day @ Fraser's Hill

08 March 2019

Hye guys!

So last month, my husband brought his family to Fraser's Hill. I'm not sure whether I'm getting old or what, but it was super dizzy journey up to the hill! I remember how much I wanted to throw up while having to bear with Nafeesa's crying. I can't hold her to breastfeed cause I was too dizzy. I've never had a morning sickness while pregnant with Nafeesa (alhamdulillah), I can't imagine how it feel like to have nausea everyday. You mommy out there is so strong!

Anyway, before we were driving up to the Fraser's Hill, we had lunch at Aiman Tino's mom restaurant, D' Kerutuk Ry at Kuala Kubu Bharu. The ayam masak merah is so delicious we just had to have more on the way back. And her mom is super friendly, she even remembered us. Funny thing is, we saw Sufian Suhaimi there, and Nafeesa even took some picture with Uncle Pian.

Here are some of the places that we went in Fraser's Hill:

1. Fraser's Clock Tower

This is an essential photo stop, there are a lot of instaworthy spot to take picture, it has old English vibes. You won't miss the clock tower as it stands in center of the old English village square.

2. The Paddock

This place have archery and horse riding.

3. Sanyi Orchid Garden

A flower nursery that specialises in orchids. There are plenty of different species of orchids, you can buy them!

4. Aida Daniya Strawberry Garden

The strawberry ice cream wasn't available, the place is not that impressive to be honest. We just had waffles and drinks.

5. Hemmant Trail & Abu Suradi Trail

There are several hiking trails around the hill. Their entrance is usually marked by signboards. There is also a waterfall but we didn't got the chance to go to there. We went to the shortest trail avaiable which is Hemmant Trail and we continue with Abu Suradi Trail.

6. Allan's Water

This is a former reservoir turned into a boating and fishing attraction. The boating cost RM8 for 15 minutes. We went on Monday, so there is no other people. They are very nice and not really that strict with the timing. We also give the fish food. RM4 for one plastic.

Overall, it was a nice place for some unwind and to have family day or even friends gathering. It is unexpectedly satisfying short-stay destination. We had a lot of fun! We didn't have a bbq because the weather is bad, but we cooked in the kitchen. We had dinner and socks party. Thanks Kak Syah for cooking breakfast everyday.

Looking forward for more family day in the future!

Love,
AS
