Salam everyone!
As I mentioned on my previous post, School of Deen is organizing Sister of Deen Meet Up for every two months. So this time, I went with Zahidah. Usually it's free, but this time around there is entrance fee. (But still cheap!) I love the potluck, I usually didn't bring anything *guilty* But this time around I feel like bringing something, so I brought banana cake. I hope one day I can bring Bihun Goreng or something heavier. (I'm not confident with my cooking you know haha)

💙 SOME OF THE GEMS 💙
1. Spiritual Journey - Spiritual journey is individual journey. Individual journey is alone, your journey in the earth is alone. We did not growth together spiritually. Sometimes faster, sometimes stronger, sometimes weaker. Nobody can make your iman stronger. You need to help yourself. Your reliance is only to Allah. Not to society, parents, lecturer, or friends. The journey is inside. Sometimes the inside is down. You can bring it up. Allah will not help if you did not help yourself. Allah will ease for you. You need to want it. The change is from the within.
2. Seek Knowledge - We receive a lot of information but we did not change. The people of before find out one massage, but they change completely. This is the research of your other life. Sometimes non-muslim has more information than us. Born in Muslim family, raised in Muslim family, does not guaranteed our knowledge. Seek for the knowledge. Allah told us everything. We are always questioning Him, why don't we find out what Allah has already told us?

3. Be Content - We always complaint that we don't have enough. We always need more. One shoes, one handbag is not enough. Why? Because we are looking at the non-muslim lifestyle. Because this is their jannah. Good for them. Why are we being envious? You are competing with who? When we died, we will get abundant. The mentality of us has been like a non-muslim. The way we think and priotize. Start living with Islamic values & ideology. Don’t confuse ourselves with other ideologies. Other ideologies often contradict Islamic values. Learn and be guided by the Quran and Sunnah. We should not envy billionaires or celebrities, but people who died in iman. Because there is no Allah's torment. And they are being comfort from the annoyance of this life. Everything is from Allah. We are Muslim. Think, act, live, speak like one. You will proud to be a muslim.
4. Minimalism - Does what we have at home is not a burden? Do we have a lot or do we have little? Richness blinded us. It's a lot of trouble. The people who will inherit our stuffs, will they feel hectic? People of before, they have so little yet they feel like they have a lot. They are preparing to die every single day. Their lifestyle is different than us. We have the same brain, it's just how they think is different from what we are thinking now. Everything is in your head. Do I really don't have enough? To get things that is not necessary. Corrupting your soul. Credit card, riba. Allah will question every single ease we had in this dunya.
5. Humanbeing were created to live forever - Allah has created us not to destroy us, but to live forever. Essence of immortality. Allah create us not to be here. But to be transferred to the other life. It just that we are passing through stages. We did not perish like animals. We are created to remain forever. Transferred from one dwelling to another. The world of soul - womb - human-being - grave - to barzakh - stand in the day of judgement - to heaven. So prepare ourselves today so that we can live comfortably forever. Our heart is the soil. Make it less polluted as we can to bring to Allah. When we are down there, we are going to wait. Do we want to wait comfortably? Water to quench your thirst.

6. Prepare for Jannah - If you love jannah, you must look forward to die. If you love jannah, you must prepare. Getting ready for death, put that in the list. Take it seriously. We are afraid to see Allah because we are not prepared. That is why we are afraid.
7. Choice - Everything is a choice. To change or not to change. Every single moment in this life is a choice. The angel is envious of us. Because we are more superior than them. We have choice to choose to do good.
8. Not click - If we did not click with someone, it's okay. It doesn't mean that they are bad people.
9. Our Children - When we died, we want our children to be strong. Not to be weak and mourn our death. They need to carry mission of Allah, continuing.
10. Stop evil - If today you do not stop the evil, the evil will come to your home.
